First of all, I started ‘db’ with my best bud, Scott. We both shared a passionate desire to build a distribution company in the wood flooring industry. Scott brought 10 years distribution experience from Ford Motor Co. and I brought 10 years wood flooring experience leading a parts manufacturing business.

The idea for our company started years ago, as I worked in the wood flooring industry and noticed a lack of service for contractors in non-metro areas around the country. Scott and
I felt so passionately about servicing these contractors – we decided to start ‘db’ in December of 2005.
DB's Foundation was built on one Fundamental Rule:
